Not sure if you can see them, but there are 4 very tiny workers tearing down the banner. The proportion is about right, because yes, the banner is THAT big. I believe that it's 10 stories tall.

That's not too much writing, not when there's a nice story like that. It's great you talked to local people with an investment in the topic at hand. There's so many different ways to look at the same event.
