Keep It Going

I don't understand the mentality of ripping Christmas decorations down the day after the first of the year. I'm more than happy to leave them up and light them up until the end of January.
I don't care what anyone thinks. I enjoy them. I'd leave them up all year, if only I didn't have to dust them.

It does seem a waste to tear them all down after just putting them up :P

We put the tree away because the cat was going crazy. However, the stockings are still up!

We still have ours up. I'd like to take the organic garland down soon though. It's outside and the birds have been trying to eat it, but they don't have a good landing spot, so I'll spread it on the ground for easier access. We made our own stockings, so they might stay up all year!

I totally understand, but with 5 cats, we had trouble enough with two trees in the house for as long as we had them up. I could only imagine what it would be like if we left them up for another month.

Our cats don't allow us to have Christmas decorations at all. It seems that our ginger cat Reno hates Christmas.

I didn't put up a tree - but am thinking that as everyone is taking theirs down - I should be putting one up....love the little drawings with your entries...
