This is great! It's a beautiful sketch. I'm so happy to have found your blog! How do you find time to paint and draw "just for fun"? I do paint, mostly to sell...and I actually have rarely considered doing it just for fun...I just don't have enough hours in the day to try to make a living, and paint for fun...maybe if I put aside one day a week...sigh, lol! I did join the sketchbook project last year, and that was fun...but I wasn't trying to make a living with my art, then, either.
I'm not trying to make a living with my art right now. I'd burned out on it for a while. I started to do art for fun, because I wanted to find the joy of it again. At some point, I may go back to selling, commissions, clients, and whatnots, but for now this is what I'm really enjoying. Plus, I'd love to have a whole row of sketchbooks lined up ont he shelves to browse through :D
