Also, even if you've never eaten in a Mcdonalds' or planned to eat at one, they control a lot of the tomato market by requiring large pericarp (the fleshy inside) and small seed pockets (locule) to ensure the sliceability of a tomato. They also control the size, demanding tomatoes as big as their hamburgers. This also depicts the use of nanotechnology, ethylene, and wax.
